But I recently had an opportunity to try my sister's Electrolux Oxygen 3...and I love it! It comes with every attachment you'll ever need, and the canister design is great because you don't have to push around the weight of the vacuum's motor while working. And the retractable cord makes for a wonderful end to vacuuming...simply press a button and the cord gets sucked right on up into the canister! I love AND highly recommend this vacuum!!

I had a great Rikkar vacuum that had lasted about 5 years and I wanted to be sure that my next vacuum could also handle the mess of my two dogs and two cats. I ordered this vacuum reconditioned and I was a bit skeptical, but figured I could always send it back if I did not like it. It arrived in perfect condition and was not at all what I expected from "reconditioned." It took only seconds to hook up any attachments and I was thrilled to see how much dog hair it had vacuumed from my area rugs. The power button, carpet attachment power and suction level options are all located near the handle. This really is a great feature that I have not had before. This vacuum also seems to run much quieter than alot of others. POOR QUALITY! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!, October 19, 2011 This review is from: Electrolux EL7024A Oxygen 3 Bagged Canister Vacuum (Kitchen) I just purchased an Electrolux Oxygen 3 model 7024A canister vacuum at the end of September, 2011 because I had such a positive experience with the first two Electrolux vacuums I owned. My Epic 8000 lasted almost 20 years and the motor just went out on it! I ordered the Electrolux EL 7024A and will NEVER again buy another Electrolux product. It has problems with the motor on the canister as well as apparent wiring issues in the connections from the wand to the power nozzle. I've used it only twice and both times had problems with it. The first time, I heard a "popping" noise (like the sound a light bulb makes when it burns out) and the power nozzle motor stopped. Later, it started to work again. The second time the canister motor stopped but the power nozzle motor continued to run. I was unable to turn the power nozzle motor off using the the on/off button and had to unplug the vacuum to stop the power nozzle motor! Of course, the vacuum later worked.
